Ford Transit vans refreshed for new launch

Ford Transit vans are considered one of the best commercial vans because of their design and features.
The refreshed version of transit and transit custom vans is going to hit the dealership very soon. The manufacturing company has announced that these vans will come with automatic gearbox option. The manual version of vans are on the roads since their release in 2014. But now there is time to turn things around. Most awaited transit is going to be launched very soon.
Powerful Engine: Specs
Engine under the bonnet is yet another masterpiece showing quality of Ford. A 2.0-litre EcoBlue turbo diesel engine has a strong grunt which is mated with six-speed automatic gearbox to achieve best of the best. The transit custom vans give out 96kW of surging power and 385Nm of torque. On the other hand, transit vans have power output of 125kW and 405Nm torque. Ford claims that the new 2.0-Litre EcoBlue engine has shown 4 percent gain in power and 11 percent increase in torque. The improved fuel economy and less emissions of new vans has also tremendously increased making it an ideal pick.
Custom van’s engine are four cylinder and fully compliant with Euro 6 emission standards because of its Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. SCR is usually found in trucks that breaks down certain harmful chemicals such as nitrogen-oxide gases. A separate tank containing urea solution is present that helps in break down process.
Modified interior and exterior design
Transit 350L now comes with Ford’s latest SYNC3 multimedia and voice commanding intelligent system. Previously present 3.4-inch LCD display is upgraded to a larger 4-inch TFT item. Smartphone connectivity option is available through AppleCarPlay and AndroidAuto making it easy to access phone apps on the go.
The outside of the van has been given touch ups. The grille on the front has a chrome insert that distinguishes the new mode from its predecessors. The vans offer the ease of personalization for customers. You can pick from hundreds of colors scheme matching your taste. Wheel covers are included in the standard package which were absent in older models.
Safety features
The van had already some basic level safety features in it but the new lot is getting modernized making sure you have a safe drive. The EcoBlue models now get a side wind stabilization feature. The system is intelligent enough to detect strong gusts of wind. The cross-wind speed is continuously monitored in a windy climate and brakes on one side are applied which act as a counter force against wind. This helps maintaining the balance of the car while driving in extreme weather like this.
