Airless Airbag – A New Application For Ford Transit

Ford Transit 2015

SuperSprings International has developed suspension enhancer applications for the full range of Ford Transit

In commercial vans segment, Ford Transit doesn’t need any introduction, whether it’s the practicality or economy, even performance is unmatched. There are so many independent custom tuners and manufacturers who are working to make Transit a fit for all. SuperSprings International is one of them who recently introduced SumoSprings Solo. Airless airbag suspension enhancer applications would apply to the complete range of Ford Transit commercial vans.

According to the company, these SumoSprings applications enable the owners to reduce side-to-side body roll, enhance ride experience and effectively eliminates sudden bottoming out.

Ever since its launch, Ford Transit has gained popularity and became a need of several industries, whether it’s the private business or in fleet services, everyone benefits from it. Now with this newly introduced system to improve the rear suspension, it will reach where it has not been able to go before.

SumoSprings uses airbags to fill the gap between the frame and axle thus it won’t leak and would not require any maintenance, lines or compressor. The biggest benefit of this system is that with the help of standard tools, it can be installed in-house. So wasting precious time in going back and forth to a repair shop has been eradicated by using proprietary microcellular urethane.

Thanks to this innovative design, the factory bump stops have been replaced by these bags which utilises the existing mounting holes. To be compatible to a wide range of configurations, three different SumoSprings Solo kits have been introduced. For your personalised use, you can opt for two different densities to meet your requirements.
